ETS | Project Spotlight

ETS-1

Elevating a Policy-Focused Convening in the Heart of DC

Educational Testing Service (ETS) hosted a multi-day convening at Hotel Washington, steps from the White House, drawing a national audience from education, workforce, and nonprofit sectors. ETS is a global education and talent solutions organization known for advancing the science of measurement and supporting lifelong learners.

Heritage collaborated with client-supplied artwork to produce and install a large scale and impactful set of event graphics across lobby and meeting levels. The result was an environment that guided wayfinding, framed key moments, and presented a polished visual standard appropriate for a high-profile agenda with plenary sessions, breakouts, and media capture points.

Project Goals + Background

The event team needed clear visual definition across multiple floors without overwhelming guest flow. Objectives included creating strong first impressions at arrival points, reinforcing program identity in gathering zones, and ensuring directional clarity between sessions.

Heritage translated the plan into venue-ready components sized to the site, scheduled production under tight timelines, and coordinated install and strike around the hotel’s event calendar. Installation occurred Tuesday, April 22 at 9:00 a.m., with removal on Thursday, April 24 at 8:00 a.m., minimizing disruption to hotel operations.

Final Outcome

The finished environment balanced presence and clarity. Column graphics, mirror treatments, and portable displays created a seamless visual language that oriented guests and elevated the overall experience. Heritage delivered on a compressed schedule with coordinated install and strike, leaving the venue ready for immediate turnover and preserving the hotel finish standards expected at a premier downtown property.

ETS continues to convene stakeholders around learning and workforce topics at national scale. Heritage was grateful to support the mission by ensuring the setting matched the caliber of the conversations taking place.

Meter Boards Can Make You Rich

OK, you may have to work it some, but meter boards are a phenomenal marketing tool and good marketing can make you rich.

Meter Boards

Good marketing entails multiple campaigns, numerous strategies and a carefully planned dynamic process. Each strategy should have multiple layers requiring various approaches to reach its goal, the one common denominator is advertising. Meter boards are one of the most effective, affordable and reusable printed advertising piece.

Meter Boards are the temporary signage used for promoting an event, event sponsor, products, services and more. Hotels use meter boards for directions, instructions and to bring attention to event participants. Restaurants like our dry-erase meter boards for their “Specials” which can easily be wiped clean and changed as needed. Meter Boards high impression rates make them effective for wayward signage.

Meter Boards

We utilize our DIP (Direct Image Printing) capabilities to embed ink directly into a ridged substrate. This method eliminates laminating the substrate (unless it’s dry erase), increases durability and lowers the cost of the sign. The Dry Erase Meter Boards are printed on vinyl, then laminated to a substrate, thus creating the write-able, erasable surface.
